What is facial mesotherapy and what do mesotherapy cocktails contain?
Mesotherapy is a non-surgical, modern rejuvenation procedure used in cosmetic surgery and dermatology.

Mesococktails are introduced into the central layer of the skin directly into the microcirculation. In this way, the active substances are brought directly into the blood.
How to prepare for mesotherapy?
No special preparation of the patient is required for this treatment.
Aspirin-based medications should not be taken before treatment. It is recommended to come to mesotherapy with a clean face, i.e. without makeup. Tell your doctor if you are taking therapeutic drugs or have allergies to certain substances. Avoid caffeine before the treatment, and it is also advisable to consume a high-protein meal.
Mesotherapy - how long does the procedure take?
The treatment lasts about half an hour.
Does mesotherapy hurt and is it safe?
The treatment is:
- safe and
- very comfortable for patients.
Because very thin needles are used to apply mesotherapy cocktails, and an anesthetic in the form of a cream is previously applied, there is no pain, but rather a very mild stinging sensation.
Very rarely, there may be a feeling of skin tightening or the appearance of redness on the treated area, which may last for a few hours.

Is recovery necessary after mesotherapy?
Since no recovery is required after this procedure, patients can immediately return to their daily activities. Possible redness disappears after a few hours.
How else can mesotherapy be done?
Patients who are afraid of needles can have laser mesotherapy. Then, instead of them, a fractionated laser beam is used, which creates micron holes in the surface layers of the skin. This enables painless application and even distribution of mesotherapy preparations.
When can mesotherapy be done?
Mesotherapy treatment can be done at any time of the year, regardless of whether the skin has been exposed to the sun or not.
What are the results after mesotherapy?
The skin is rejuvenated after mesotherapy, and constant care with mesotherapy cocktails maintains skin tone and freshness. As long as it is applied regularly, aging of the skin is significantly slowed down. The results are visible immediately after the treatment.
