Dr. Svetlana Bogdanović graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade at only 23 years old and completed her first specialization at 29 years old when she was declared the youngest surgeon in the country.
She completed two surgical specializations with the highest grade at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade.
At the International Congress of Plastic Surgeons in 2010, she was a moderator and lecturer for dermatological and surgical lasers as the most educated laser expert in our country.
Since 1993, there has been the Diva polyclinic within Diva Company – whose primary activity was surgery, and Dr. Svetlana Bogdanović established the specialized surgical practice DIVA in 1997 due to structural changes which in 2002 changed location and continued to operate at Kosovska 34 in Belgrade. This medical institution grew into Polyclinic DIVA in 2005 with headquarters at the same street and expanded its activities to three polyclinic specialties:
- plastic surgery,
- dermatology, and
- physical medicine.
Since 1997, she has worked as a trained specialist in radiofrequency surgery, which she was the FIRST to perform in our country and region.
She began working with surgical lasers in 1991 when she worked with a surgical CO2 laser at Zemun Hospital during her first specialization. Since then, she has been a pioneer in introducing lasers in our country for more than two and a half decades. Most doctors who currently work with lasers and radio-waves were directly or indirectly trained by Dr. Svetlana Bogdanović Rašković.
