How to treat hair loss and how to have beautiful and strong hair?
There are several approaches in the fight against hair loss – shampoos, balms, hair transplants… One of the most effective is hair mesotherapy, which not only promotes the growth of new hair, but also improves the quality of all hairs.
How to achieve an excellent effect in the fight against hair loss?
In clinical practice, it has been shown that the combination of mesotherapy and the PRP method gives very good results in the treatment of hair loss and the strengthening of existing hair.
What does the hair mesotherapy procedure look like?
In the “Diva” polyclinic, the hair mesotherapy procedure is performed by specialist doctors who first make a diagnosis during the examination and determine why the hair is falling out, and then start the treatment with the appropriate number of treatments.
With very thin needles, the mesotherapy cocktail is injected into the scalp at a depth of 1 to 2 millimeters. This procedure is minimally invasive and does not require local anesthesia.

Is the hair mesotherapy treatment painful and how long does it take?
The hair mesotherapy procedure is comfortable for the patient and lasts from 15 to 30 minutes.
The hair mesotherapy procedure is comfortable for the patient and lasts from 15 to 30 minutes.
The effects of hair mesotherapy are visible after a month, and it is necessary to do 6 to 10 treatments on average (which depends on the surface being treated and the quality of the hair itself). How often the hair mesotherapy treatment will be applied is determined by the doctor, and in many cases the procedure is performed at intervals of 10 days.
Depending on how pronounced the hair loss is, that is, what kind of effect is being sought, it is possible for the doctor to suggest maintenance once or twice a year.
If hair loss in women is due to a hormonal disorder, then it is necessary to include an endocrinologist or gynecologist in the treatment.
Can hair loss and shedding be prevented?
If you consult a specialist doctor in time to determine the cause of hair loss and prescribe adequate therapy, it is very likely that the outcome will be satisfactory.
Why does hair fall out - causes of alopecia?
Hair loss can be permanent or temporary.
Permanent hair loss occurs as:
- baldness in men – it is often hereditary, and depending on various factors, it can start already in the twenties and can lead to partial or complete baldness;
- baldness in women – in a large number of cases, hair thinning occurs on the crown, while complete baldness occurs very rarely;
- baldness due to hair follicle damage – occurs as a result of a physical injury to the scalp, so hair no longer grows in places where a scar is formed, and it can also be the result of skin inflammation.

Temporary hair loss can be:
- due to hormonal changes – which occur due to menopause, pregnancy, childbirth or thyroid gland disorders;
- hair loss in the seals – it can be caused by thyroid gland disease, stress, lack of iron in the body, autoimmune disease…
- uniform hair loss – which can be caused by stress, changes in body weight, shock…

How does hair grow?
Hair growth goes through 3 stages:
- anagen – this is the phase of active hair root growth in the follicle. When it comes to hair, this phase can last about 1,000 days,
- catage – this is the phase of hair loss and lasts an average of one to two weeks,
- telogen – or resting phase. It lasts for 2 to 3 months before the hair falls out, replaced by a new one growing in that place.
Hair grows by an average of 0.37 millimeters per day, and in the anagen phase – the growth phase, it is common for about 80% to 90% of hair at the same time, while as a rule, there should be about 1% of hair in the catagen phase.
We lose about 60 to 100 strands of hair in one day. However, when it begins to fall more than that number, it is necessary to consult a doctor because it is considered to be increased hair loss.
